NZONA Executive

I am Amanda Burton and I am currently the Secretary of NZONA. I have been an orthopaedic nurse for close to 30 years and I find this specialty of nursing continues to offer new challenges and rewards. I enjoy orthopaedics because it provides the fundamentals of nursing, covers a wide age group, has some exciting moments and some surprising moments. I have nursed in several countries, gained my post-graduate orthopaedic experience in London, have been a Charge Nurse, Administrator and am now Nurse Educator.

Outside of work I am in a continual state of house renovation and have a husband and cats to keep me occupied.
