It's ironic that the very first ward I worked in as a Prelim. Nurse was a general orthopaedic ward. Twenty eight years later I see myself back inthe orthopaedic scene.

I have had extensive experience in acute care including emergency, ICU and general wards over those year. I was hospital trained in the early eighties then continued on in the late '90s to complete my Bachelor of Nursing degree at WINTEC.

Since then I have undertaken postgraduate education achieving a Masters in Nursing (Clinical) in 2007 through Victoria University in Wellington.

Currently I have been involved with pre-operative elective surgery in Waikato Hospital.

My interests include trauma and elective surgery.
