Background
- The ANZONA AGM is held annually during
the ANZONA Orthopaedic Conference.
- First Meeting Brisbane 2004 – NZ
working party established, invited to join ANZONA.
- NZONA established by working party 2005.
- Meetings established in upper Nth Island.
- ANZONA partnerships formalised –
Presented at 1st Conference Perth 2005.
- 2nd ANZONA conference - Canberra 2006.
- 3rd ANZONA conference - Rotorua 2007.
- 4th ANZONA conference to be in Adelaide

Features
of ANZONA
- The ANZONA AGM is held annually during
the ANZONA Orthopaedic Conference.
- ANZONA delegates have a representative
from each state in Australia who report back to their regional groups
– with sub specialty interest groups across Australia.
- The NZONA President and Vice President
and/or delegate will represent NZ (as from Nov 2006) on the ANZONA
executive committee.
- Cheryl Kimber (SA) assumed the presidency
of ANZONA in October 2009.
